Spend a day visiting the different bays around Koh Tao on a snorkeling trip, one of the best ways to see Koh Tao.
DJL now offer their own snorkelling trips wich are run either off their own snorkel boat or during the low season from the main diving boat. The trip costs the same as the other snorkel tours, however with DJL you also get your own Divemaster to guide you round the snorkel sites and identify the aquatic life.
Only 650 Baht for the day with lunch thrown in. |

When Divers started to come to the island they still wanted to party after they'd finished their diving, and of course there were plenty of people willing to help them. There are many bars all over the island with some of the most noteable ones being located in Sairee close to Koh Tao Backpackers.

Spend a great day fishing around Koh Tao. Organised trips to take you to some of the best fishing spots around the island. When you go on a day fishing trip you can either donate your catch to the fishermen on the boat or keep what you catch and then find a friendly restaurant that will let you cook up your catch. If you want to cook up your catch on the BBQ at the DJL Pool Bar then just let them know before you set off on the trip.

Okay so you're not the sub aquatic type that always dreamt of being a fish, perhaps you dreamt of being a bird? Whay not give the Flying Trapeze a go, it's based right opposite where you're staying. Have a try for just 950 Baht for a full hours lesson, or even go for the video to show the folks back home that you didn't spend everything on partying. |

Koh Tao does have the nickname of the "Rock", so it's hardly surprising that you can go rock climbing here. There's a company that specialises in non diving activities here on Koh Tao called Good Time Adventures (GTA). Rock Climbing is relatively new to the island compaired to the more established scuba diving industry but the team down at GTA will give you a great experience. We can book any of these activities for you either from our reception or in advance if you'd like, or if you prefer check out their website and book it direct at http://www.gtadventures.com. |

Go Wake Boarding and watch you friends make fools of themselves as they get dragged along behind a speedboat when they find out that it's harder than it looks, but hey that's half of the fun of it isn't it!
There are a few different companies on the island that offer Wake Boarding and prices a dependant on numbers and how long you want to go for. |

Yes Koh Tao has a golf course! Well a mini golf course anyway, based in Mae Haad on the main road going towards Chalok Baan Kao. |
|
Ten Pin Bowling, Koh Tao style with the patented human reracking system. At the same location as the mini golf course this makes it very convienient to combine a night of bowling and mini golf. |

At the Island Muay Thai stadium in Sairee there are regular boxing events put on, the frequency of thesse varies throughout the year with more fights being schedules during the busy seasons on the island. Fights take place in the evenings starting at 9pm usually with a fight card of around six bouts, for the evening. If you are interested in Muay Thai you can join up and train with the guys and the girls down there and then if you really get into then there is an opportunity to get involved and get into the ring yourself on one of the fight nights. |

There are a few different options for sailing trips & training courses available, ranging from short trips around Koh Tao right through to multiple day trips around the Ang Tong National Park. The cost of trips vary depending on how long they are. This is also the case with training courses, but there are also discounts for groups available. We can either book this for you here on the island or book it directly for yourself and see further details of trips at www.adventure-cruises.net & details of training courses at www.ocean-hiker.com |
